Positions Available for the 2026-2027 School Year

  • President (Essential Position)

  • Treasurer (Essential Position)

    • Description: Manages and oversees finances. Duties include creating a school year budget with the PTSA President, monthly bank account reconciliation with Quickbooks, filing non-profit taxes by Nov (templated), managing reimbursements (checks and Zelle), and monitoring budget.

    • Workload: 1 hour/month (2hr in Nov for taxes)

  • VP of Volunteers

    • Description: Makes 'Sign-Up Genius' pages online when we need volunteers and helps fill open volunteer needs (not a heavy workload, but ongoing throughout the year)

    • Workload: 1 hours per month

  • Financial Reviewer

    • Description: Reviews the financial records from the Treasurer and Financial Secretary in the Spring.  

    • Workload: 60 minutes, 2-3 times a year

  • Membership

    • Description: Runs the membership campaign at the beginning of the year and distributes the Eagle Discount cards (time-intensive at the beginning of the school year; some minimal ongoing responsibilities through the year if people join later).  More work in the beginning of the school year.

    • Workload: 7-10 hours a month in August, Sept, Oct. 1hr per month after.

  • Hospitality

    • Description: Plans the staff "Welcome Back" breakfast at the beginning of the school year; Coordinate Staff Appreciation Week activities and any "Stock The Staff Room" events (2-3 times per year). Work with extra volunteers through SignUp Genius to help with staff the events. 

    • Workload: 5-7 hours, 3 times a year. 5 hours for Teacher Appreciation Week in May

  • Book Fair Chairperson

    • Description: Plans book fair, coordinates delivery with book fair vendor, directs volunteers and classes during book fair week

    • Workload: 15 hours over the 6 weeks prior to book fair. 10-15 hours during book fair. May have to fully commit their days to the actual run of the book fair, depending on extra volunteer availability.  

  • Equity & Inclusion

    • Description:  Plans parent social events during the day or early evenings (coffee mornings or restaurant meet-ups)

    • Workoad - 1-2 hours per month, depending on frequency of social events​
